Well it seems as though it is that time of the year where every DJ under the sun seems to start spamming everyone they know (or don’t know to get them to vote for them in the DJ MAG TOP100 DJ poll (www.djmag.com) …

Using Facebook, Twitter, Blogs, etc. – I don’t think ANYONE is safe from these fame hungry DJ’s, but am I really any different?? I always use all social media and tools to market my events, gigs, albums, tracks, etc. So why SHOULDN’T I also try get voted in??

Lets be honest, its tricky for a DJ from SA to crack that Top 100, all the way down here at the ass-end of Africa, but that’s OK with me! In fact – I LOVE SA – so really who cares??

I know being in the Top 100 brings fame and prestige, but in the end it’s a DJ’s music, passion, and dedication that makes him (or her) great, special and memorable!

So – having said all that – I implore you to NOT vote for me, but to keep your support for me, keep coming to my gigs, keep buying my albums, downloading my mixes, and loving my music! – That’s all a DJ can ever really ever hope to ask!!!
